Sound used in phantom of the opera
The music uses digetic sound, the music starts of quiet and gets louder whilst the scene plays along which creates a sense of mystery quite repetitive maybe giving us a hint to what might happen. sound bridge is uses in the next scene you can hear the surrounding (ambient sound) before you see it on screen gives it a good effect. the man speaking in the background, this signifies that the place maybe an isolated place. the music sounds very dark which is contrapuntal which creates mystery. towards the end the music changes completely it gets more pacy and louder this could be showing the change in time as the scene changes colour from being black and white to being in colour.
